How can you go wrong with the lead of Skies of Arcadia, the most underrated RPG of all time? You can't. Vyse was funny, courageous, inspirational, friendly and even intelligent for your typical JRPG character. Also, SKY PIRATES!<3
The ultimate pirate villain. His theme was imposing and yet triumphant in the same time. Awesome weapons and moves, and by god is he a force to be reckoned with. I just love that mofo!
A different kind of pirate, but one of the best. Heck, I wish more video games nowadays had imposing characters like Vaas. His dialogue and demeanor alone earns him his spot, and why he is VAAStly superior... HAHAH! I'm here every day.
If you have RAZOR in your name, that earns points alone. Rayman 2, aside being one of the best sequels of all time, also has a great villain (unlike the non villain in 3) and a very challenging final boss earns him the spot.
Bon Voyage across the world! This little Japanese girl may look weak, but she can wail on anyone with her giant Anchor. Points for having a kick ass theme music too!
I really wanted to put the "Zombie Pirate Ghosts" from Ratchet 3, because I can, but Slag is an actual character. Also give him the treatment of having the great writers of the series, and you got a funny character too!
Captain Scarlett
For having a badass female pirate. Also that British accent, she is like a female Jack Sparrow!
Never played those games, but dear god the ever changing beard is a good enough gimmick for him to make the list, more than Guybrush at least.
Havoc from HSH. Despite having lame abilities like a flash kick that doesn't work, he gets points solely for surviving one of the hardest platformers of the 16-bit era.
At least they have cool design?
