@glottery: Well Ratchet and Clank is getting remade for next year so...FUCK YEAH!

Anyway, this console has basically become the entertainment center of my room. I don't watch a lot of TV, so I use it for Netflix and Blu-rays a lot. The games are the real reason to get any next gen system...but you can get most of them on the older systems. Some of the truly great games like Wolfenstein, Assassin's Creed 4 and MGS 5 (yes I still fucking love that shortass game) can be bought on the older systems. Killzone: Shadow Fall and Infamous: Second Son are both fantastic, but Infamous has no replayability (virtually) and Killzone's multiplayer is great...but slowly dying.

The UI is great for me. I wish I could have folders and themes and what not, but having a Party Chat is a great improvement from PS3. Menu's are cluttered, but you get used to it. Trying to use an Xbox One is a clusterfuck I tell you. Not trying to dis that console but that UI is godawful for me. I can not find my way around anything. So far I love the PS4, but there isn't a whole lot to play. Until October. Then boy are we in for some treats.

I like how everybody is calling him whiny and a man-child, but by projecting their anger at him, aren't they technically the whiny man-child. Twitter is both a curse and a blessing, any famous person can project their feelings, but be sure the community and other critics are going to throw their feelings right back at you.

I hope Phil will be back within the next month or so. Give him a chance to cool down.

I think its not the best in the series, but I do love the series! I don't understand the hate for AC3 or Revelations, especially since Revelations has the best actual plot, with Desmond's story being the least stupid its been since AC1. AC3, the Desmond aspect is completely awful. The changes to AC3 are good, some don't work out though, like view points being useless, combat being a bit worse then other games, and free running and climbing being less important. I do like a lot of things the game did though.

I wouldn't think that would be a good idea, seeing as they are online only games. There are still a lot of people who don't play internet on their consoles believe it or not. They would have games on there they couldn't access. I'm thinking more singleplayer content pre-loaded.

Sony isn't upping the tech of the Bluetooth because they don't need too. The tech works great for what it is, and they are taking a step in the right direction giving you a mic with the console. It may also be because previous bluetooth sets will be compatible, as Sony may not want people to have to give up their previous sets. Xbox improving their mics is cool, but while Sony is using the same tech, they are trying to improve upon currently existing tech, to keep costs down for both the company and the player.

Also, sure Microsoft doesn't want to break things that work...but it wouldn't be the first time working things have broken would it? Xbox Live isn't perfect as is anyway. Sure they haven't had as big of an outage as PSN, but they have had several fuck ups with the service. Not to mention the entire service is intuitive. I had an account banned because I didn't switch from my expired credit card to my new one, even though I had tried on several occasions only for Live to just tell me no and ban me.

Things aren't perfect on either side. I say we wait until the console comes out to make our judgement's, based on fact, not speculation.

I'm not arguing that it's better now, I am arguing that you seem to think things won't get better on a new console. I have never had trouble with the audio quality with my bluetooth. Plus your talking about tech for audio quality on the Xbone, when you haven't experienced it yet. You can't talk about facts for a console that isn't out yet. Bluetooth could become a preferred method this generation. You have no idea, you can't talk about all the facts when you don't have all the facts.

Not really Senrat. If I order a pizza with sausage and pepperoni for 8 bucks from my local pizza joint, and they deliver a supreme for the same price, I will still be pissed, because I just wanted a goddamn sausage and pepperoni pizza.

Now this metaphor has nothing to do with console creation, I just felt like being a smart ass.

1. The timed exclusive argument is that, what is the point of buying a console for that game, when it will be coming to a console your more interested in, at a later date. Its more or less mainly an argument for people like me, who can't afford every console on release. I can get one or the other, and I prefer Sony's console from looks..

2. Now your talk of features that Sony will never match is, in my mind, complete and utter bullshit. You can't say that about a console and a revised PSN that hasn't been released yet. Things happen, and Sony's voice chat of choice can soon be the preferred method. You said in an earlier post Microsoft's new technology might be great or mean nothing, who knows? well apparently you do, saying that Sony will never catch up to your great Microsoft.

I have owned a 360 and PS3 for a long time now, and I have preferred the 360 this generation. That is exactly that, THIS generation. People expected the PS3 to be the preferred console going into the PS3 announcement, because of the PS2. The PS3's initial failure showed people not to judge a new generation based on an old one. This is what your doing right now. Xbox 360 is a great console, it doesn't mean Xbone will remain supreme based on the fact that Sony is 'still playing catch up' with their service. Don't judge until it launches. I understand you're getting both, you will be able to be a fair judge then. I myself will get the PS4, and it COULD turn out to be shit, you COULD turn out to be right, that they will never match Microsoft. Then again you could be wrong.

A new generation is a time for new experiences. Don't judge the new experience based on past mistakes.

I would have suggested against pre-ordering anyway. All this talk about how Microsoft has more first party launch titles, they have better fps, yadadada. This is still three-four months from launched. Games still have another good two months away from launch to tweak and fix. Games can still be announced, games can be pushed back, and several things can happen between now and launch.

PS3 didn't have a good launch with first party, true. This may not have thousands of first party titles right away, but I'm putting my bet on Sony, because of how many first party titles that it will get.

Also that new R&C excites me greatly and I will buy it. Just because a new generation is starting, doesn't mean the old one is ending. PS3 still has a lot of quality titles coming out in holiday.
