I have to admit I was pretty bummed out regarding as well.

However from a technical standpoint it would be tough to allow for more than one character, once you take into consideration on how the pawn system works and how crazy people would get with creating new characters and pawns, the server would be over-saturated with a bunch of pawns from the same player.

Same thing with only allowing one save, it constantly uploads your pawn data to the server. It would be hard to keep track of which save file to upload to the server.

In the end it looks like it was a conscious design decision and (disappointing as it may be) kind of makes sense in the grand scheme of things.

@Demoskinos: I looked around on the skill tree in the demo, didn't see any, but I could be mistaken.

Seems like it will be a pretty damn awesome brutal ass game. However my only disappointment is that they removed gun executions, which I though were awesome in the first game. Who doesn't love to run up to a dude and shove a shotgun in his mouth and pull the trigger? Also the 'reload' animations in the first game were a incredible delight for me, instead of reloading his guns like a chump Jackie would just drop the empty guns and pull out new ones from his jacket. But the combat overall in the demo has improved from the first game, I just wish they brought back the gun executions and 'reload' animations. All in all, I'll probably be picking this game up.

I just hope they take their time making another Deus Ex game. Rushed development on sequels can kill a good franchise.

I remember thinking the same thing about Blood Money before it came out.
I still think it's too early to tell, and judging by this article. It just looks like they wanna tell a better story.
That all fine by me, just as long as they follow a few simple rules.
1) David Basteson reprises his role to voice 47
2) You can still successfully complete a mission without killing anyone but your target (by choice of course).
3) Keep it classy.
The Hitman franchise was always about choice, from the beginning they only told you the who and where. The rest was up to you to figure out utilizing the skills 47 had available to him.
 
I'm not denying that they might fuck it up. But considering their track record for making badass Hitman games. I'd like to think that we have nothing to worry about.

I don't hate the idea of the game. 
I just hate that they slapped the Brothers in Arms name on it.
 
On a side note I'm kinda getting tired of the exaggerated proportions on characters in games. 
IE: Brink, Borderlands, this game.
It was cool when Team Fortress 2 did it, but its getting a little old...
 
I will reserve judgement until I actually play this game. 
This is just my guy reaction after watching this trailer.

What could MAG stand for other than "Massive Action Game"
MAG... Military Assault Gunship?
MAG... Multiple Assholes Gathering?
MAG... Missions Are Good?
It's pretty damn near impossible to make the MAG acronym make sense...

There's something surreal about a band consisting of Avatars on bass and guitar, Johnny Cash singing, and Kurt Cobain on drums. Especially when they play Sweating Bullets By Megadeth...
