I just picked this game up and started playing it. After roughly playing around 30 hrs I can truely say, " Holy shit, this game is definately one of my favorites." This game still holds up after 5 1/2 years.
Lately it has seemed that my team has been blowing up their own helicopters. Why the fuck do people do this? It pisses me off so bad. Usually i notice it's because they don't want me to get it and so they figure, "If I can't have than no one can." That's homicide stalker mentality.
I'm pretty goddamn disappointed in this game as well. I feel as if I asked the prettiest girl out to prom and she said, "yes." Then I'm waiting all this time to go to prom with this pretty girl and I get stood up. I've had my eye on this game for years. Ever since it graced the cover of Game Informer, claiming it as an "Open World" experience. Bull shit. It's a grand scale linear game. You drive then go to a hub to shoot in tight linear corridors, then drive and turn in the quest. Rinse, wash and repeat. I just beat the game but an hour ago and the utter disdain and frustration is still fresh on my tongue. Ehh. I'm just ranting. Basically I was expecting a lot more and it failed to deliver on a few different levels. And friend dropped by to watch the end of the game and after watching he decided to take it back. Although it gets a lot right, It has my vote for the biggest upset of the year.
