I fell in love with it right off the bat. When I saw the hard difficulty option I was so happy, and I've loved it ever since! Having to play through the game once before I could play hard was actually the biggest draw in Arkham City for me.
I have not looked too much into the online, but isn't killing eachother in cool and unique ways something that most people likes? Is there some way to get into the open world where it actually IS up to you what you want, even if it involves screwing someone else over, without getting into problems for it? Or is the only way to kill someone without being taken as a prick in deathmatches etc? I guess the open world I'm thinking about is where you get when you're a bad sport or something, so that's a answer to my question... Kinda... Still, is there no way to swap between two different type of maps, one for role playing and one for PvP + role playing?
Binding of Isaac before wrath of the lambs is what I'm most proud of. The biggest reason for not having it after wrath of the lambs is that I was semi-burned out with it from before, clocking at around 100+ hours.
Also Batman Arkham Asylum. That and Binding of Isaac are the two only games I can say I got 100 % on purely because I loved the games so freaking much. I am one of those who finish the game and stop it there, most of the time at least.
It might just be me overlooking something, but I still haven't found a way to restart or exit missions manually. If I'm right about this, then it's something I really dislike. As some others, I hate the driving, but I can also see why so many other likes it. The aiming when you're driving is fucking stupid, so eff that... All in all I think it's a solid game, but the driving, drive-aiming and the lack of simple mission options like restart or exit is something I can't overlook too easy. If anybody knows how to restart or exit a mission manually, please do tell!
Last of Us. It took me a while to finish it because the whole game really didn't "click" for me until around half way through. It was so repetitive and boring. Some story - open area where you try to stealth and get into a firefight if you fail - progress a little ahead - more open area sequenses or story and repeat. The story wasn't enough for me to like the game at first, but for some point the combat and everything just clicked for me and it got somehow easier, but also so much more exciting. The story ended up being very cool, but imo the game is still really overrated. I did love it though, after some time.
