" @bluerei Trolling 60% Reading comprehension 0%, any idiot can buy an arcade cabinet. You said unlocks were taken out of SSFIV due to timing of release, I directly quoted Ono saying it was due to complaints by fans. Unlocks have always been a part of fighting games and tournament organizers have always bitched about them. At best they waste a few extra hours of an organizer's time. At worst they cause massive time delays during the tournament itself or cause characters to be banned altogether simply because they're unlocks. Ono heard the fans and fixed this for SSFIV, I just wish he passed the information on to Nitsuma. So far your only argument seems to be, "well that's the way they've always been." Tradition is no reason to keep bad game design, or do you still wish games still had limited lives and continues? Genres need to evolve, not stagnate in the trappings of their past. "

Yeah, it was both reasons. You think that was the only time Ono talked about it? Guess what, SSFIVAE has unlocks too, get over it. Thanks for your opinion but not everyone hates unlocks and it's not bad game design just because you can't handle single player more than once. It takes very little time to unlock characters, and if tournament scrub organizers are complaining about that, they need to leave the scene. Games have been pussified and devolved by people complaining like you. Guess you're right, I don't have reading comprehension for retarded logic. I'm done talking.

Guess what, we hate unlocks because A) it forces us to play what we consider a shitty pointless single player mode and B) it causes tons of headaches for tournament organizers.  You may play fighting games a bunch, I'm not going to claim you don't, but your fingers are about a million light years away from the pulse of the competitive fighting game community. "

Wow, So Ono said exactly what I was talking about, and I guess you never ran a tournament before, since arcades have always had character unlock codes. It's been that way in MvC2 (which arcade I actually own) I've been around fighting games since before you were born,  don't get into something you have no clue about.

@Evelgest:  Arcades have codes that unlock all characters from the beginning, just like MVC2 (which arcade I actually own). Secondly, Ono kept SSFIV free of unlocks because it came out not that much long after SF4 and it was the same game with updates. MVC3 is a completely different game and it's following in the same tradition as MVC2.

And for all those complaining about Akuma, and unlocks, you don't play fighting games much. Don't try to talk your way out of it either.

So dumb they renamed the paradigms to these stupid names. What was wrong with keeping the original japanese names of attacker, blaster, healer, jammer, enhancer and defender?

@SwordSaintSSX:  No problem, I wasn't angry or anything, just getting some facts straight and make some sense out of the ending as well.

@SwordSaintSSX: I'm Mormon, we're not a cult, we only believe in one God, but that man has the potential to be gods. Too long to explain. Anyway, interesting theory, but Joseph Smith wasn't really tied to Templars, more of Free Masons, but very loosely. It would be like saying some 5 year-old girl in Germany is a Nazi cause she is a distant cousin a few generations away from Hitler.

I have both, and now with Netflix coming to the PS3, I don't see a reason why you shouldn't get a PS3. It only does everything.™

I completely agree with Dana White. I also agreed with that vicious knockout by Hendo against Bisping.
