I remember playing through this whole game as a kid, and I remember loving it. I have a distinct feeling that if I were to go back to this game today that might change. There are just certain games I loved as a kid that I know if I go back to I won't love it anymore. I have almost played this again multiple times over the years, but always end up picking something else.
Fighting Force is another one I feel like would be in this same category. I remember playing through it over and over again and loving it, but I just feel like if I play it now it would ruin it.
I ended up playing through probably 90% of the game yesterday. I meant to just check it out for like 20 minutes or so on a whim. I am really enjoying this game a lot. I am not typically in to horror games, but this one playing more like an adventure game is what I think pulled me in, since I often like those types of games.
I have certainly run in to issues, and I haven't loved every part of the game, but the story has been pulling me along.
There are two things I have really not enjoyed so far though,
One being the stealth sequences with Maw, which felt really inconsistent with when I would or would not get spotted. The other being the part with having to drain the tanks of water and the what felt like far too much backtracking.
Usually, just 1-3. Generally when I am done with something I immediately close it. When I am doing work on the wiki I might have up to 10 open to research stuff and go back and forth.
@reibenus: I went ahead and changed the default image, but also Giant Bomb is no longer being used for Twitch, so you would have to contact them for any changes there.
I also only recently got in to the series and have so far played through 0, Kiwami, and Kiwami 2. I also came out of 0 tired of the combat honestly, but what I did was just jump into Kiwami with the combat on easy. It wasn't what I enjoyed about 0 anyway. I am mostly just into the fun story/characters/setting and want to see it through and enjoyed it a lot more that way.
Man, what a weird move. It is also somewhat of a gut punch since Tony Hawk 1 + 2 was my absolute favorite game from 2020, and now I am pretty sure that will be it from that series.
