Just over 500 so I could do the end game stuff. A lot of the moons in the game felt like the blue coins in Sunshine and were about as satisfying to get. I enjoyed the game overall but would have liked more quality over quantity.
God of War seems like more of a threat than any of those games. (I'm not saying it's better, it just has more in common) That sucks, it's easily the game i'm most excited for this year that has a solid release date. (unless they delay it again!) Oh well, it's only a month, I'll probably end up getting the game pass to play some Sea of Thieves or something.
Either Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2 had a lot of mediocre boss fights. Dark Souls 3 had a lot of epic boss fights that werent very fun.
They're all great games with good bosses but comparing them all makes the 'bad' boss fights seem worse than they are.
@humanity: Metal Gear Rising, Killer is Dead & Anarchy Reigns all came out the same year as DmC. (I know a lot of people werent fond of the latter two but I enjoyed them) Bayonetta 2 is much better than all of them though and I expect Bayonetta 3 to raise the bar even further.
Everyone who was making those kinds of games moved to souls style games though unfortunately. (I like the genre but I also like tight action games that arent stat/loot based)
I feel like Kamiya was made to have a Twitter account against his will for business reasons and is treating the situation with the tact and respect it derserves. Platinum have their own account and questions like this should be directed there.
The last episode felt very Starwarsy, not sure how I feel about that. I liked Lorca, sure he wasnt a good person but he was an interesting character, much better than the Klingon zealots as far as antagonists go. I thought the mirror universe stuff was cool but they run the risk of things feeling like they dont have any consequence if they keep flip flopping between time/universes etc. I know Trek has always done that but they generally save that stuff for later when they have to write themselves out of a hole.
I mean they're making a Detective Pikachu movie so why not? I do think Mario is the least interesting character in the Mushroom Kingdom aside from maybe Toad though.
Turns out it was my Xbox being weird, had to clear the cache. (held down the power button for awhile) Usually this is an issue when you have it in "Instant On" mode, which I didnt so that was a bit odd.
I'm playing the Xbox One version of the game and had just completed the Odongoros(?) quest and it was stuck in the post quest results screen with a "now saving" icon for over ten minutes so I went back to the dashboard. (ill advised during saving but after 10 minutes it wasnt going to finish) Now it wont even load to the title screen which seems weird. Not loading my save I could kind of understand (which would suck) but not even getting to the title screen seems a bit extreme.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this or has any advice. I'm considering reinstalling the game but would welcome better ideas.
I'm enjoying it, I did play a bit of Tri on the Wii but I didnt have a pro controller and playing with the Wii-mote and nunchuck was terrible. My main complaint for World is how it handles the online which has already been mentioned.
