Polished (mostly) to a shine, great characters in a rich world. The first great Western game is also one of the best of the year.

Kratos' final chapter is everything you could've hoped for and more. A great send-off to everyone's favorite anti-hero.

Shooter of the Year and best Multiplayer experience hands-down. With some of the best audio to be found in any game. The gun reports and explosions are of the highest quality that make other military shooters sound as if they were recorded with nerf guns.

Want to crash a plane into a enemy stronghold and jump out at the last minute via parachute hi-jack a helicopter, blow up a guard tower, while hanging from said helicopter, and free fall to the ground only to grapple hook to THE GROUND at the last second avoiding all injury? Well do I have the game for you.

Great send-off to the original story arch. Bungie pulled out all the stops and it shows. Best multiplayer to date and with a good campaign and improved firefight mode what's not to love?

But seriously despite all that non-sense, a great follow-up to one of 08's best titles.
