I just started playing this and can already tell a clan is practically mandatory to get the most out of the game. If no one else has yet, I'll create a clan tonight and send PMs to the people in this thread who expressed interest.

That is a bad comparison. GG started out about misogyny and harassing women, and then the rest of the "movement" regarding vague ethics concerns sprung up around it to shroud the harassment. The hateful acts are at its origin and its core. Contrast that with what you're talking about with GiantBomb, which was founded on inclusiveness and ethics and occasionally has had people jump in later trying to stir shit up, who are quickly weeded out.

The ambiguity is that the second half of the choice just says "deal 1 damage," which in all other appearances on cards means it can target minions or players.

This tweet and that sickening call made me want to leave my own brief message in his voice mailbox, more along the lines of telling him how awesome he is and what an asset he is to the site and the community. I haven't seen where he distributed the number that people have been calling him at though (I assume he put it out publicly if he's got users calling with quotes for an article). Anyone know where to get it?

So that happened last weekend? That would explain why I felt like I was levelling SO fast when I played Monday night and tried that wave defense mode for the first time.

@nycnewyork: He doesn't ignore price elasticity, it's actually the crux of his argument. But his conclusion is that those additional people who will buy the game at the lower price point are less likely to enjoy the game, evangelize the game, or even play it, which in a way is bad for everyone. Despite myself being the exact person he's talking about - I have over 200 unplayed games on steam and a wishlist of 50 games waiting on sales - I see his point.
