I really didn't couldn't have the GB coins in the first area. Caused scrolling and ruined the aesthetic. I put them toward the end, made it the screenshot, and put it in the title. Hope that's enough.

This has already been solved with a couple of Vive launch games. They put in automatic smoothing for first person shots and player chosen camera angles. Not to mention mixed reality with a green screen which is also fantastic.

Eye tracking isn't that difficult. The New 3DS does it to keep the 3D stable. I have zero doubts that the next wave of headsets will use eye tracking for foveated rendering.

If GB can dedicate a 2.5mx2.5m space for the Vive stream it's going to be an amazing thing. I have a feeling they are going to go with the minimum though which can cause issues with quickly swinging controllers.

Plante's tweet perfectly puts into words the thoughts going through my head yesterday at the responses that were so concerned about "investing" through Kickstarter.

Get a haircut, hippies.

You are really funny.

man I know bullying isn't cool but jesus I'm tired of hearing about it all the fucking time

This sort of feeling only contributes to the problem.

Pure hatred is different to bullying.

What is your point? I have a feeling, but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

I don't know. This is obviously anecdotal, but the straight up sexist crowd seems to be quite large, and the anti-feminist crowd is even larger. Sometimes it feels like it's the majority.

@CrunchyPickles: The argument is that public pressure has effected game design in a way where certain fans expect their voice to be heard in an unhealthy way. Whether it's after the fact with Mass Effect 3 or before with certain brands of focus testing. The concern is that a product isn't what they want so they demand that it be changed. You saw this with the ME3 charity thing, the DmC White House petition (if real), and random comments on message boards. You are wrong in saying that it doesn't exist elsewhere. Films based on comics sometimes deal with this. You are probably right in pointing out that it's not used often in other media, but I obviously disagree that it's not a real issue in gaming. The difference of course with games is that you can alter one far easier than a film, and not only that, but altering games to fit your audience can be a positive thing (fixing playability, controls etc.). There has been precedence for this in the tech industry as a whole. There is a difference between that and what happened with certain people with ME3. My problem with the whole ME3 was probably similar to yours though. The term entitlement was thrown around by some people at everyone. People who disliked the ending were lumped in with the people demanding it to be changed.
