I bought a VGA box for my Dreamcast, and connect to my HDTV via a VGA to DVI converter. Looks great, if you're willing to accept these games are about 12 years old.
I have the Japanese Super Famicon controller for the Wii. Works like a charm. This I'm not so sure about... I sometimes wonder if I'd rather Nintendo just re-release the SNES again. Carts 'n all.
Nope there's F1 fans on here scattered about. I thought the season was fantastic, but it's starting to turn a tad predictable. That is to say, Seb Vettle is going to win the Drivers Championship and RedBull the Constructors. McLaren truly effed up, again. Which is a shame, as they're my favourite team, then Sauber.
Learn Japanese and get Mother 1 +2 and Mother 3. Great games. ... Well, 2 and 3 certainly. FFVI also, as other have said, though it lags a bit and the sound is, per usual for GBA games, a little bit off.
@Djnuttty You could always go back to the 50's and 60's, with some Beatles and Beach Boys ('Pet Sounds', 'Smile' and 'Friends' I'd go for), little bit of Sam Cooke and The Drifters etc. If you're not looking for that sort of pop music though, I'd suggest Talk Talk. Mainly, It's My Life and The Colour of Spring. Two great albums, and you should give them a listen at least once.
Recently read 'Nothing To Envy'. Pretty moving book really detailing some true stories from the DPRK. Not sure if @drewbert has read it, or would even want to after his visit, but it is a great read.
