I had the same problem. Turns out if you're wearing an NCR disguise and you take it off, your reputation with them resets. It's annoying, I know. I think it's a glitch, not an actual feature.

That gives rise to the question of what exactly the insufferable meme for this game will be. I think Valve handled the cake thing really well with that tiny shoutout on the collapsing door then poof.
I played Unreal Tournament 3 a lot on it back when it was still free (is it not still free? I heard it wasn't), but that was mostly just because the 30 minute demo thing made it easy to just do a couple botmatches then skidaddle.
I'd never dream of actually buying anything on there. For one thing, the graphics are nasty muddy and such, to the point that it really isn't worth the boost I get playing it smoothly on slightly improved visuals as opposed to just toning the game down to run well on my dinosaur PC. That's not even taking into account the latency issues. Euch. It felt like my keyboard was coated in honey. Not a bad thing now that I think about it, but for playing games it was notfun.
Plus, something about that whole playpass thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. OnLive has not been tremendously successful so far to my knowledge, and they pretty much state straight up that if they have to shed some excess game, the user will end up with the short end of the stick. Now you could say that's true about a lot of other systems and OnLive is just being honest, but not owning any of the files on your computer at ALL... something ain't kosher about it.
