I really don't see how so many people like Extinction. 
 
Carlos & L.J die, & Wesker is only shown for a few minutes. Alice has force powers & Tyrant looks like a rubber suit. The redneck sniper in Extinction was also not as cool as the one in Apocalyse. The crows were stupid. And there wasn't even a good soundtrack to cover it up. 
 
The original movie & Afterlife had great tunes.

The laser scene is still pretty disturbing today, especially the part when the guy finds out his fingers were chopped off. The first one was definatley more of a horror film than the others.

I've seen enough. And I used to think Alice was dumb in the first movie because I didn't know her, but I've growned to like her as the franchise went on. The duel between Alice & Nemesis in Apocalypse was actually pretty good.

Alice is the definition of a Mary Sue and it is boring to watch a Mary Sue try to be a legitimate action hero in a movie.

Also, Bridesmaids is better than all of the RE movies.

It was terrible. It was poorly cut together with quick close ups and the camera moving super fast. And trust me, close ups of the rubbery ass Halloween costume that was Nemesis does not help the film in the slightest bit. I'm kinda surprised you enjoy the RE movies considering in a previous thread you were pretty negative about RE4 for it not being like the older games and the movies couldn't be any further from the source material if Michael Bay started directing them. I mean, she gets like telepathic powers and the entire world is a desert in the third movie? Give me a fucking break. And I'm not just harping on them because they diverge so wildly from the games, they're just straight up bad movies in line with Transformers 2 or Meet the Spartans(okay maybe not "Meet the Spartans" bad but still pretty bad).

                   

               

I hated Extinction, but Paul Anderson makes up for his mistake of adding "force powers" to the films by quickly dismissing it in the beginning of Afterlife. 
 
IMO, all the RE films are watchable except for Extinction.
