So a friend brought over a copy of Mortal Kombat, I maybe got an hour in with it, and played some story - and I'm very hooked. I've read up on all the characters and lore and stuff and, well. Yeah. Hooked is the best way to describe it. 

Absolutely buy this game. I don't know if you'll want a fight stick, but the 360 d-pad sucks, so if you're playing it on that and are willing to spend the extra money, maybe you should get that too. I'm glad you're really digging it. In all honesty, the game seems to cater heavily to the long-time fans of the series, so I wasn't sure how appealing it'd be to newcomers. It's my favorite series and I've been playing it since the original, so for me, this game is totally a dream come true.

yes yes yessss, buy the game! its amazzinngggg!  i think a lot of the good deals are gone now...but Toys R Us has a coupon for $10.00 off the game!!! and i think its an extra bonus because the game is on sale for 49.99 and minus the 10 dollar coupon its 39.99... BUYYYY ITTTT!!!!! not to mention if you buy from ToysRUs...you get the Kitana Klassic Costume!!!  and if you don't want that costume you can give me the code! lol :D

Most of the other places had deals, but that was last week when it was released...not sure if you can find anything better at this point... um... but yeah, definitely get it! 39.99 is A GREAT price for this game, plus you get Kitana's costume (which again, if you dont want, right here! we'll be friends!!! lol)

The nearest Toys R Us is a bit out of the way, but I'll see if I can't get over there sometime. And, for saving me 10 bucks, if I get the game there - you can have a Kitana costume code :3.
