The patch just dropped on PS4. It's pretty meaty too in terms of size (~800 megs!). It also adds a 'Newcomer' difficulty and Boss Rush mode.

@corevi: I would love to, but buying the parts new is a bit too much cash than I can spend at the moment. I guess I was looking for something second hand because I figured it might be at least marginally cheaper. Also if this is against the forum rules then an admin can come and lock this topic down. I was just curious.

@karkarov: Specs?

Hey Guys,

I apologize if this is in the wrong place or if this is a duplicate topic, but is anyone selling or looking to get rid of a gaming desktop? It would be nice to get something capable of playing most modern stuff, but something upgradable could be good depending on price.

Thanks!

@mb: But Caroline addresses that during the course of the story. She says something to the effect that killing Deathshead won't win the war. It's about turning the tide. By eliminating Deathshead they eliminate the Nazi's ability to continue to make innovative new technologies. Plus, they find the source of the Nazi tech (they stole it from Da'at Yichud). So it makes sense that, going forward they will continue to take the fight to the Nazis. To be fair though I just want BJ to get the ending that most protagonists these days don't get....a happy ending with Anya. Call me naive, but that man has seen some terrible, terrible shit. And if all he wants is to settle down with Anya, have a house in the burbs with a BBQ and a couple of kids, and live in peace for the rest of his days....then I don't think that's too much to ask.

Considering that this sold pretty well I imagine they'll make a sequel. Plus, this game follows the classic film narrative trope of not letting you see the body at the end. You never see the place get nuked. You never see the aftermath of BJ's call for the airstrike. So in all likelyhood, the resistance rescues him at the last minute, nukes the place, and the next game will pick up sometime after that moment.

As for the ending, I thought it was alright in that (1) If they get to make a sequel, it will be a good place to pick up from and (2) if they don't, then hey it's a decent place for them to end their time with the series. I hope they make some DLC for this, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well I submitted my application for the Sr. Editor position. Here's hoping that, at the very least, I make it past HR and end up getting the eyeballs of the editors to look at my materials. *crosses fingers*

SierraTango187's answer is garbage. The code as given can't fit that message; first of all, the sequence wasn't long enough, and it doesn't fit the pattern in any way. It is as of yet unsolved.

That's what clued me in, the answer is way too damn long to fit into any variation of a cipher, as well as ludicrously melodramatic (it doesn't match the pattern of the other two). I'm going to go over some more tomorrow and see if any discussion boards have pieced anything together.

I've since removed the second answer until a valid logical method for decoding it becomes known.

Here's an Easter Eggs video with four things that point to the direction that Rocksteady could go with the next game, or any episodic DLC. There are some major spoilers here for two of the side quests so don't watch this if you haven't finished the game, the Watcher in the Wings sidequest or the Identity Theft sidequest. You've been warned!

@DrPockets000: I agree with your skepticism about the second decoding. Unfortunately no one seems to have any info on the decoder that was used. So until someone can find an actual means of decoding the numbers I'll leave it up, but again I'm not sure how accurate it is.

@N7: There are four stations? Do you have the fourth code sequence? Also can you give me the numerical coordinates (x,y)?
