Why did I cancel mine? Microsoft's embargos. Even if the games ultimately look just fine compared to PS4, there seems to be some shady shit going on, and it's best to wait that out.
@mb: And probably assumed not enough people used the feature to be worth it. Like Microsoft moving DVD playback on the first Xbox to a separate add-on.
If this is the case, wonder if we'll eventually see an "optional media update" sold on PSN for a few bucks
@rick_fingers: Licensing costs, I imagine. Still gotta pay someone to license mp3 decoding. Well, if you do it legit, which a company releasing a product has to.
I haven't played one, but I'm curious - which would you recommend to start (I have a 3ds, so I can play that or ds games)
I'd recommend buying the GBA version off eShop. It's the cheapest, in case the series doesn't fit your tastes. It's the closest to the SNES original (which I've enjoyed the most) but with some nice tweaks/improvements to its systems. It's also straight up farming and animal raising. Later games just add on to this core gameplay loop.
It's a game about chores, but there's a lot of satisfaction in seeing your farm come together for comparatively little work, and no manual labour.
@core1065: You really want to lose your shit, look into the "lost cosmonauts." Couple of Italian brothers recording high-octane nightmare fuel off their radio array back in the '60s. I think it's been mostly debunked, but it's still completely plausible. If there were astronauts shot into orbit that didn't come back, the Soviet Union was certainly the in the best position to bury that information forever.
