@mento: Oh yeah, I never even considered the Scrub League option. Even so, I'm still not sure it's got enough "OHHH SHIT!" factor compared to Tetris Battle Gaiden's engaging goofiness. But I'd still not complain if they gave it a crack anyway.

Also, I'd never heard of Hebereke's Popoon before! Which is a surprise, because it sounds like something dirty, and I'm normally across anything that sounds like something dirty.

I have a weird brain problem with the Shining Force games: any time someone mentions one, no matter which, I have a strange compulsion to play Shining in the Darkness.

Oh, man, such a tough question! The GameCube remake is so goddamn good; you're making me wanna dig the disc out and start up a new game! And I actually really enjoyed how lean and mean RE3 felt, with the Mercenaries mode being the oft-played cherry on top.

But I guess I gotta go with the first RE that I played, number 2. I got it at the same time as I got my PlayStation, and was just fascinated by the content of that game. Sadly, I forgot to buy a memory card for my new purchase, but decided I'd just keep playing and leave the console running...

Got to the alligator. Died. Fuck.

Next day, I went out and got a memory card, went home and fired up RE2 straight away. And I did it with zero resentment in my heart. Just loved that game to bits.

EDIT: Bonus image of Vinny in RE: Director's Cut!

I can quote most of Pretty Woman by heart, I've seen the honestly-pretty-damn-rubbish 27 Dresses more times than any normal person should, and I think Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is the finest love story of our time. Also, I'm getting married tomorrow, and I can't wait (well, it's both nerves and excitement, but whatever).

So, yeah, I'm cool with the romance.

I'm getting married on Feb 1; as soon as Feb 2 happens, I'm so getting one of these bad boys into my guts.

Yer the best/worst, Drew. Thanks, mate.

Either COD4, Fallout 3 or Oblivion. Dead Space and Darksiders were ace fun to knock out an S-Rank on, too.

One day, though, I'll be able to rank Vanquish as one. DAMN YOU, CHALLENGE LEVEL 4!

Sterling stuff, sir. (Shit, Paul Barnett's got me talking in S's.)

I know that you know that I know that I've gotta get some Xenoblade Chronicles in my life, and your additional layer of pimping it here is edging me ever close to that predetermined purchase.

Also, I'mma give my own award, with all these comic strips as nominees, to Best Comic Strip by Mento in This Blog. And the winner is... The FTL One! Cracked me the hell up.

Oh, and more like buttz_clik, amirite? Wait a minute...

I'm calling Masocore platformers the worst this year, because it ruined four promising games...

Pssst, two of those links lead to Dustforce. I'm dying to know what the fourth one was!

Yup, s'fucking aces. As a fan of the comics I was stoked that the balance had been more than restored after that Stallone abomination.

@Fobwashed: I think the chorus to this song adequately sums up my feelings about you:
