Been playing on the PC with a controller and was having a bad time with it. Switched to mouse and keyboard about five missions in...such a better experience. They just ask you to do too much with a controller! It's so much easier to accurately hit weak points and use your entire arsenal with a keyboard.
I thought it was fine. A little disappointed how many upgrades had to do with using "RB" or "LB" to do a dash in the air, and how finicky they could feel once you got them. Absolutely gorgeous, though, which almost made up for it.
Gotta say - they did this again this week, and it really sucked. First 7 and a half minutes of the premium Bombcast were an ad for Premium. It's a shitty thing to have a selling point be "no ads" and still do ads, full stop.
It's...fine. Some of the puzzles are clever. The thing that really gets me is the game seems insistent on taking away control as often as possible - there are just so many cutscenes that it's almost absurd how much your flow is interrupted by watching Luigi get scared by a new ghost, or watching that ghost go to another room, or watching Luigi put a button into the elevator, or watching little animations play out, there are so many points on every floor where you just have to watch. I want to like the game, it's incredibly charming on the surface, but it's so disinterested in letting me actually play that it's difficult to get too invested.
