Not to be confused with my pile of shame, here is my list of games that feel "important" that I've never gotten around to playing or beating. The list was created 8/17/13 and is in no particular order. Games that are knocked off the list will get moved to the bottom.

Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: Medium Notes: When I said the items on my list were in no particular order, I lied. Grim Fandango is the game I want to play the most. I don't own it but is still obtainable second hand. Getting it to run on a modern machine may prove to be difficult, but it's got to re-release at some point, right?
Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: High Notes: It was cost prohibitive as a kid and in recent years. With it's re-release on the Wii U, it's just a matter of time.
Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: High Notes: I had the game but as a kid, didn't know what the hell I was doing and seem to recall getting stuck in the observatory. It's been re-released on Steam so it's obtainable.
Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: High Notes: I own the game for the NES. I've just never been good at pattern recognition and memorization.
Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: High Notes: ICO feels important and I can't explain why. I started it and never got more than an hour or so in. I'd love to be able to have something resonate with me when people mention it.

Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: High Notes: I never started because I wanted to be ICO first. Almost bought a PS2 just for this but was saved by the remastered version.

Added: 8/17/13 Feasibility: High Notes: It was re-released on Steam, but I've never played a Final Fantasy game. I don't do anime, or really turn based for RPG's. VII comes highly regarded so I'd like to give it a go.
