It disappeared when the current design went live. Not sure why, nor am I sure if they'll bring it back. Though it'd probably be a good idea to do so, seeing as the "wiki" side of the site is a pretty integral part of it.
I always do. When I'm considering buying a game, I want to make sure it's worth buying. And the best way to find out is to read the full review. And seeing as I don't read previews, or look at screen shots, or watch many gameplay videos (I still watch some, but not nearly as much as I used to), the review is my main way of finding out if the game is something I'm interested in. So reading the whole review is sort of necessary.
" Just curious, as I am planning on going the full 3 days, just curious if their gunna be going, and if I can look forward to maybe a special Bombcast/coverage of some kind. "
Yeah, Jeff said they have booked a panel again this year. "
He did? Well, I guess that confirms it. They're going to PAX again this year.
"That being said this whole "please do not release the negative reviews until days or weeks after the game is released just incase it causes poor sales" bullshit needs to stop. "
I agree. Publishers (specifically Eidos) need to stop doing this this. I can understand wanting to make sure you make some money off your game, but this isn't the way to do it. All this does is get a whole bunch of people ticked off at you, and in some cases, makes people decide to not play said game. Which in turn, leads to them making no money. Which isn't what they'd want to happen.
" So he goes against the Wii for other consoles and then wants Touchdown in a Nintendo game? Yeah, that makes sense. Plus, that's assuming that there is another Smash Bros. (which their probably will be. "
I think it's pretty much guaranteed that there will be another Smash Bros. game. Nintendo's made loads of money of the series, and considering its popularity, they'd be stupid not to capitalize on that by making more games in that series.
So for that reason alone, I highly doubt Nintendo will stop the series anytime soon -- or at all for that matter.
I gotta go with the PlayStation 2 by default, seeing as I never owned a SNES, or played any SNES games for that matter. But even if I had, I imagine I'd go with the PS2, anyway. Simply because of all the great games I've played for that system. No other console I've played thus far has been able to match -- or surpass -- the number of amazing games for I've played on the PS2.
