All the points you made here are valid, but I do think this article should be clearly labeled an op-ed since it's more consumer advocacy than journalism. The UMD transfer scheme is news and so is presenting the bizarre figures behind it, but it could give people the wrong idea about your and GB's standards (which I know are high) when it's set as the featured news content.

@NickLott said:

David Cage explained what happened in those blackouts and why Ethan woke up with origami in his hand. It wasn't a very good explanation but it was supposed to be explored in Ethan's DLC which never materialized.

Basically the gist is that Scott Shelby was there the day the Ethan's son died in a car accident and from that day onward had a psychic link with him as a result of their trauma. So in Ethan's blackouts he was experiencing Shelby's actions. Like I said, wasn't a good explanation.

Wow. I can, uh, I can see why they cut that out.

No way we learn anything other than where the game takes place and MAYBE who the main character is. No mechanics.

Well, the "Five" is done up like it's from a dollar bill. Which obviously means the game will take place from the perspective of Earnest Kelly running his counterfeiting operation in Vice City, trying to maintain a steady profit margin while avoiding suspicion and giving a huge cut of the profits to Tommy Vercetti whenever Vercetti actually remembers to come back to the shop.

So Sim Counterfeiter.

Bob Ross is great, first off. And why y'all gotta hate on Patrick? He's your friend in news.

I, uh, also made a Dr. Manhattan.

And a follow-up to my Latina kabuki gangster from SR2 and a gentleman with great hair. It's surprisingly fun to just make a random face and try to pick some stuff that suits it. Really good range of options.

And yeah, Dr. Manhattan's totally a grower. Who could only find arousal in the billowy folds of a supernova. Or a girl half his age.

When I was in high school I had hair like the Kleptomaniac, but now half of it's fallen out and I look like a young Louis CK.

So I was watching the windup for the Michigan Masters MvC3 tournament and I saw Patrick Klepek casting it. (http://www.twitch.tv/addmitt)

No Caption Provided

Then I realized it's actually a guy who goes to my college, and occasionally writes for the paper of which I'm an editor.

Anybody else know any Klepeklikes?

I doubt they leave much of the Eden stuff in, but I think that's the only way it would be interesting. Sort of an Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark thing for the Pieces of Eden.
