Personally, I really enjoyed this game, but I DO feel like something was missing from it, and I hate to admit that the concept art is probably what makes me feel that way. I don't think people are being completely fair in their criticisms of the game, but when you look at this concept art--especially anything that features the Phantom Blot--I can't help feeling like there wasn't quite enough EPIC in the game. I'd have especially appreciated a much more EPIC final boss fight.

That said, for what Epic Mickey turned out to be, I think it's pretty good. (Keep complaining about the fetch quests people! I'll just keep pointing out that Borderlands features an abundance of those, as do most ALL games that are RPG or platformer related, INCLUDING the games that score 10s.)

@tylerjacob Yes it does. In fact, it makes me quite a bit more angry than it probably should. I'm so glad there's someone else out there that thinks statements like "this game sucks" need to be prefaced with "I think."

To those trying to say it doesn't matter: 2+2 = 4. Cabinets are made of wood. The sky is blue. (NOTE: The three prior statements are all my opinions. But you already knew that because it's "obvious when someone is stating their opinion," right?)

If you're not going to qualify your statements in a manner that makes 100% clear that you KNOW they are just opinions, you are not just presenting your view anymore; you're deliberately trying to influence what other people think. I believe there are plenty of people that will enjoy a movie, then hear someone say "the movie sucks," and either due to the peer pressure of the statement or the mistaken guise that they can't trust their own judgment will suddenly decide the movie DOES suck and refuse to watch things that person doesn't like anymore. If you aren't going to state your opinions AS opinions, I think you have no business acting like a victim when people flame you for being closed-minded.

There is a reason why people get pissed when they hear the KKK say that blacks ARE inferior, or when they hear Nazis say that Jews ARE destroying our culture. It might not be quite the same thing (I can already picture responses calling my claim extreme.), but it's something to consider.
