@Akrid thanks! i really wish i had a band to play around ideas with and such because i'm really more of a drummer who plays guitar secondhand and isn't very good with coming up with actual song material, more ideas like this. i've been searching on the forums here for some band mates but nothing has happened yet :/

@SSully thanks man! and this was recorded about a year ago back when i was first writing, so i was kind of looping stuff in order to make a song longer, but it's gotten progressively better now. the only reason i put it up was because i rerecorded the drum track (since i'm a drummer at heart) and my friend added bass to it. i wish i could get the kick more in the mix though but hey recording on a budget is hard haha. but thanks for the criticism and i'll make sure to use it in future stuff!
@ ChristianConservativeVinny i love the original jazz version because of it's light-heartedness and feeling of resolve! i just kinda wanted to experiment with a more rock tone. in retrospect it was too much distortion but hey, now i know! the scale thing was kind of improved and i just kind of did it for some ridiculous factor haha. thanks so much though!
