About sixty hours in. The end is near.
Headed back to work tomorrow. Though I have managed to get a little farther in Mass Effect 2 on Insanity.
I was stuck for quite a while on one of the story missions, but finally managed to eke my way through today.
Now to finish up the loyalty missions...
In the low eighties here in South Carolina, whole house fan is on, the kids are getting along with one another. Strange alternaverse I've stumbled into here.
Wow, nice mind-bending moment about 2/3 of the way through Arkham with the reversal of
Managed to get through Area 51 in less than five minutes on our first try!
Make sure you change characters in the Build hub when buying accouterments, specifically the base plates (the brawler from Raiders).
Apparently, you had to play all the Story levels in Quick Play - so, played a few extra levels... About 60 of them. Oh well.
Well, 100% complete anyway.
My wife plays LEGO games. I am forced to complete them.
Right now, we're playing LEGO Indiana Jones 2.
We have three achievements left.
1.) Finish Area 51 in less than five minutes - this will require two players and probably put a strain on our marriage.
2.) Get all the achievements for 100%, see below.
3.) Play through all the levels in "quick play" mode. Sounds simple, until you do the quick calculations - 3 movies in the original trilogy = 15 levels per movie, plus Crystal Skull, broken into 3 parts = 15 levels per part... 6 times 15 equals... 90 levels?!? Which we've already played through. At least once. Dammit.
We've got LEGO completionitis on this end.
I've only scratched the surface of this game. There are some game design issues which I think are going to be swiftly worked out, so I am not too concerned with that.
This might be the fix I've needed for a while. I turned off my computer at midnight, which is about an hour and a half later than normal.
Technical fixes: After updating my drivers, the flickering of the character portraits and cities went away.
Started this book over the weekend. I'm not much into the zombie genre, but it is quite good.
I have a great mother-in-law, don't let anyone tell you differently. She likes Avatar: Last Airbender and has really started enjoying the new Matt Smith Doctor Who.
She's coming back with me while I leave my wife in Atlanta to look at schools for the kids so she can watch the kids while I'm working.
Nice.
