Dude, I got "Yo Noid" on NES for 5 bucks after seeing 3 screenshots in a game magazine i don't remember. I've said for most of my life that it was the first game I've ever returned... come to find out while moving a couple of months ago, that I NEVER DID. It's been with me the whole time, leaving a prepubescent "me" to believe I'd sold it down the river.

@cerberus3dog: My friend and I, while working at Gamestop when this came out, had so many laughs at this title's expense. I like the hero being a punk-ass bard, though. Cool choice.

Edit: Infinite Undiscovery's the subject, btw. Not Deus Ex.

@jesus_phish: He's not the one that's stuck. They're stuck. And he responds in a completely reasonable fashion

I thought he already came back this year? And then he had some incident were people were giving him shit over not doing his more famous skits during a live show so he ended up sitting down and reading a book in protest.

I feel terrible for comedians who get stuck with a "gimmick" or a "routine" that the public won't let them escape from.

Yeah he said the same thing in For What It's Worth

"Hey, HEY! Rick James, Bitch!"

I can understand being pissed at that

It's like Andy Kaufman all over again.

Btw, I'm a solo player. I love online, but you generally end up being a more skilled player when you do a lot on your own. People generally tend to get real sloppy and lean on each other maybe a tad too much when playing multi. I'd play online if I could, but I don't have a Wii U. Over 700 hours on 3DS version, and I've probably only played with my friend for about 20 of those. Also, like 2 hours online using his Wii U and the Transfer Program.

kinda funny that you used the R2 logo, when none of that was from R2...

I loved this show.... Jeremiah is the secret best secondary character ever

Exited and then....

"ZAKK Snyder is directing."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This. So much this.

Snyder is a BAD director. He shouldn't be touching characters and franchises as beloved as Batman or Superman.

Full disclosure...I'll still see this.

Wait. Watchmen was bad?

I almost forgot that Comic Sans WASN'T Action Man or from the Komika family of fonts... shit. I Used to make some little personal comics back in the mid/late 90s. Yeah, remember being like "there's gotta be something better than THIS.

But with Papyrus, I don't particularly hate it, but the problem with it is that it's pretty much designed to look "exotic."

Like, "built from the ground up to evoke primal understanding of the rough elegance of some non-white savage peoples' lands and artistry." I like the font itself, but it should probably not be used in your design work any more than once a year (or two years), and/or specifically for a single-word header or title when pertaining to an Egyptian travel brochure. It is not to be used in a sentence. James Cameron fucked that last bit up, thus failing in all other categories of papyrus use.

Wow, this is surreal. I've literally just started XIII-2 like 4 days ago or so, and am already at....probably about 70 hours (I'm off work for awhile, and this game is actually pretty neat). It doesn't seem to be as bad as it looks when it comes to the Crystarium and how it behaves. I just used smaller nodes to level combat roles i didn't care as much about between skills, and saved big nodes for what I really cared about. The major concerns I had were Commando and Ravager, for Physical and Magic damage, and Sentinel for HP. However, I am noticing that it looks like Noel will always be ahead of Serah in the HP department, just like Snow naturally had the highest HP in XIII, followed by.... Sazh, I believe.

What I have come to understand, as far as what you really control, is the set of monsters you roll with. I'd remembered hearing someone on one of the major podcasts talking about using a white behemoth for the rest of the game after she got it, while maybe Garnett Lee said he was just using a chocobo. I've fought 3 types of behemoths before, but I loved the attack speed on a wolf-type monster I got, so I used him as a Commando. He was able to level up to 40, and had around 430 STR.

Just today, though, I dicked around with this hovering jet-robot I got in the Tower (looks kinda like Tron in there, year 200 AF); It has fucking laser machine guns, a Feral move that hits all enemies for about 3500-5500, and kill things very quickly by itself. I got him to about 500+ STR by his max level (20, i think). As a bonus, it comes out to 608 if I fuse that old wolf into it, and give it the wolf's STR+ 20% trait.

If you're interested, keep an eye out for a big yellow floating robot with a beetle-like head. It's called a "Dragoon." Keep posting what you find! I really wish I'd given this game a chance sooner, and especially when I was unemployed last year :\
