No, I mean September 19th. September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day, and yes, its already passed. That means it can't be achieved until next year, hence the point. Why would I post if it was Oct 19th? Then everyone could get it immediately, rendering my post completely irrelevant.

Anyway, I'm with the rest of you, doesn't matter to me and as seen by my 360 Gamer Card I don't come anywhere near getting most of the points for the games I play. I just thought there would be some out there who are into that kind of thing and I wondered if they knew about this and what they thought.

I just found out, though I'm sure its widely known already, that there is a multiplayer badge earned for playing SR2 on September 19th, International Talk Like a Pirate Day. While I partly think that's funny, I'm also a little surprised because there is an achievement tied to earning all the badges. This means no one will get the full 1000 points until next year. Which also means no one may ever get it, because who knows if anyone will still be playing in a full year from now? Just curious what the community thinks of this? It's not a big deal for me as I won't ever get the full 1000 anyway.

I've been playing around more with this to try to get a little more info and here is a bit more formal of a bug report.

1. What browser are you using? Firefox 3
2. What Operating System are you using? Windows
3. What is the exact link to the page you are having a problem with?
I've had it here: http://www.giantbomb.com/csi-crime-scene-investigation-hard-evidence/61-265/
Here: http://www.giantbomb.com/les-manley-in-lost-in-la/61-7745/

I don't think its page specific though as I try to detail below.

4. Details, details, details. Explain it in detail.

I've played around some more and notice that I do seem to acquire points when uploading images or making small edits. In other words it seems that if I just do somthing minor, worth a couple points or maybe 20 points, I seem to get them, but if I do something major, like make a 400 point edit to an article, I don't get them at all. I was playing around with the CSI Hard Evidence page, added some stuff to it, 400 points and I didn't get them. Then I edited it, added a space, and I got a point for it. I then removed what I added, saved it (which gave me a point), then re-added it, and while all the time on that page it says I'm getting 400 more points for my contribution, my actual score is not going up at all. I apologize for inflating my score on that page by deleting and re-adding the same material, but since I did not actually get any of the points and I really was attempting to do a little testing, I'm hoping its not a huge deal.

Just as an FYI for anyone else this might be affecting, I let a couple of staffers know about it in a PM. Maxwell already responded and said he'd let the guys know tomorrow and they'll look into it.

Yeah, neither am I. I added an article to a game, decent length, page said it was worth a decent number of points, didn't actually get any of them. Somethings up I guess.

I believe the community has decided on a whole that Collectors Editions should not have their own separate pages, right? If so then these two pages should be combined, merged, whatever.

Keep this one.

Remove, merge, whatever, this one.

Keep this one.

Remove this one.

They are identical, both the text adventure game by Infocom. One had a graphic already added so I went with that one when filling out more information and therefore suggest deleting the other one.

I'd go ahead and make this one the main one.

Delete this one.

They are both exactly the same game as you can see by the box art included on both pages. I also did a little research and the blurb that is given for each does describe events that happen in both games. Doesn't actually matter which one a mod picks to keep, I just suggested the one I did because its box art is shinier.

Not sure where this should go, so I apologize if this is a blatantly wrong place.

In my research I found that Crazy Cars 3 is also known as Lamborghini American Challenge. Screenshots I've found along with a box cover I found justify this. Just thought I'd mention that for a mod or staffer since we're unable to touch aliases.
