Well Riddick was going to feature an entirely new chapter to the game as well as online modes so it wasn't just a straight port. A lot of people also haven't played the game so it being cancelled is some bad news.
I think we can expect Brutal Legends down the line. The fan base and "star power" of Jack Black along with the metal/Guitar Hero style theme will help the game find another publisher since it's highly marketable and caters to an audience which will eat this game up.
I'm all for criticizing Dyack whether it's about his game or his beliefs on the industry but I'm not going to bash the guy over his weight. Yeah he's a large dude but hey I'm not a Brad Pitt type guy either so I'm not going to give Dyack crap.
This game is looking sharp as hell. GG really seems to be dedicated to giving the player both an excellent SP and MP modes and the MP mode looks really good so far. Hopefully an Open Beta will be announced sometime soon.
This is merely a ploy to get hits for the site since Playstationlifestyle has proven to be a crap site in the past due to their "exclusives". So I would recommend everyone not to hold their hopes up high expecting a massive announcement.
