Oh, so I just have to do stuff? Like any side missions or old missions that I actually want to replay? Wow, woulda been great for them to say that somewhere. Thanks for the answer guys.

I have to know if I'm doing something incredibly wrong or if anyone else is experiencing this. I have had multiple instances of only being able to progress by doing exact repeats of missions I've already done with slight modifiers (like "Perfect Stealth" or "Extreme"). Slight episode number spoilers I guess, but several days ago I got to play episode 31 which is amazing (apart from the ridiculous part where they interrupt all the tension and drama being built up by the cutscene to throw in a "to be continued" screen, which only serves to force me through more menus and loading before seeing the dramatic conclusion, but that's another problem) but since that day I have been doing nothing but meaningless side missions and harder versions of old missions. For reference for people ahead of me it says I'm on episode 41 (which is also an old mission).

I'm hoping someone tells me I'm not doing enough with Mother Base or something stupid like that, and that this isn't a problem other people are hitting. But with as much praise as MGSV is getting right now, which I believe is largely justified, the fact that no one is talking about these things that seem like glaring problems to me is freaking me out a bit.

I recently got a fight stick and am looking to get back into Persona 4: Arena. I loved the original release and am excited to play again with an actual stick this time, but before I drop the $30 for the game again I'd love to know, is anyone still playing this online on PS3? That's the version I need to get cause it's where my stick works, but getting it only to discover the online scene has evaporated would be a huge bummer. And more than just people playing online are there still a decent range of skill levels playing? I know I'm going to be terrible when I get it and I hope it's not just the super hardcore (good) crowd playing at this point.

I also use it daily, really awesome thing you made. I usually use it before I sleep to find a random old quick look to watch. Picking two people in the video and scrolling through the pages till I find something good.

Also when you have to tap it for fullscreen there is no way to rewind/go forward in the video. Not a huge deal most of the time but can be annoying for rewinds.

If you're not sure if your group will really be interested in it and want to spend as little money/time investment as possible try Dungeon World (http://www.dungeon-world.com/). The full PDF is only $10 on drivethroughrpg and the system is super easy to learn and run. As the DM you only have to read about a hundred pages (with rather large text) and it's really easy to explain. When I got the idea to run a game for some friends so we can try it I choose Dungeon World as the game because it was super cheap and easy to learn and it worked out great. Rather than being super stat heavy and rely on d20s it's much more reliant on improv and creativity. We ended up making the switch to D&D 5th Edition because it fits our group better (more combat, less RP) but Dungeon World was a great place to start. Especially if you're not super experienced DM-ing, D&D has a lot of rules you have to understand and memorize (although Dungeon World will rely more on everyone at the table being creative).

  1. Garnett Lee, Shawn Elliott, Shane Bettenhausen, and Luke Smith.

Garnett Lee is the only one who can match Dan's eternal optimism about games and host any shows well, the other three are funny and varied enough in their views on games to make the site worth watching. Maybe I should re-listen to 1UP Yours....

I believe Jeff and Vinny did get the true ending, but it might be different from Golden? Think they got some hints to make sure they got the true ending during the endurance run.

Best arena run I've had was 5 with a Paladin. I'm always really enthusiastic about arena when I start, then end up with terrible decks. I didn't expect that Paladin to go anywhere near 5 wins after making it. My mana curves are usually messed up, with far too many minions and none of the good removal spells with the class. Just made a Mage deck for another run and didn't get any aoe, or pyroblasts. Doubt this deck will go very far, first game was a loss. Just need to get better at card selection I guess.
