Liam O'Brien has been one of my favourite English voice actors for some time now. I'm always excited when he's in a game I'm playing, though I have to say that I like him best as Akihiko in Persona 3. I never watch anime dubs, so I haven't heard him in many of his anime roles (though I know he's voiced a number of high profile characters), but I always laugh when I hear him in commercials from time to time. Recently, he's voiced those Wonderful Pistachios commercials and it's pretty amusing. I sometimes mix him up with Sam Riegel, as those two sound pretty similar at certain pitches.

Enjoyed reading this, along with your last one.

I am definitely uneasy about this for all the reasons everyone else has mentioned, but honestly, we have no idea how this is going to shake out, so for now I'm all right with waiting to see what happens. I really hope they just let Atlus be Atlus.

Yes, Persona 3, mainly the Female protagonist route in Persona 3 Portable. I first started playing games when I was about 7 or 8, but when I was 12 I stopped gaming for quite a number of years, and just started up again about 8 years ago.

Actually, this summer's been pretty good to me so far. August, in particular, is shaping up to be pretty awesome. Recently I've enjoyed:

  • Shin Megami Tensei IV (taking a break from it right now, but it's pretty awesome)
  • Tales of Xillia (finished a few days ago)
  • Gone Home

Right now am also totally looking forward to Hate Plus (sequel to Analogue: A Hate Story) and Sweet Fuse, both of which will be out before the end of August. I almost feel spoiled. I'm also thinking about picking up Brothers, but I think I might leave it until a bit later in the year when I'm not so swamped with new stuff I'm interested in.

@the_nubster:

They don't say straight out what happened between the mother and the guy at work that she was interested in, but if you look at the refrigerator in the kitchen, there's a wedding invitation where a guy named Rick is the groom. Also, there was a brochure in the Dad's desk in the solarium for a couple's counselling trip (the trip the parents were on) so I'm going to assume that nothing actually happened with Ranger Rick at all, and the mother was just interested in him. I could be wrong, but that's what I figured probably happened. Could be that learning he was marrying someone else made the mother realize that she wanted to work on her own marriage.
