@dazzhardy: I remember watching it live (on TV), just stunned at the grandness of the fuck-up we were witnessing. I was really bummed for the people who went to that race. Didn't think there'd be a US race for a while after that, heh.

Williams seemed to do well despite being regarded as having poor performance in the wet, which is a good sign. It's tough to root against one of the most likeable guys in the sport, but I want Bottas to always be ahead of Massa, and it is going to be tough to overtake him in the race.
Surprisingly big performance gap between Kimi and Alonso. Raikkonen didn't make it into Q3 and was outperformed by Grosjean in a Lotus. That being said, a great job by GRO getting up to P10.
Didn't Vergne complain about Maldonado trying to kill him at the start of the race? Hopefully he calms down, he drives like I do in F1 2012.
We've been hoping he calms down since he entered F1, he's only there because he provides the funding. There are better drivers who deserve a chance.
Wasn't Hulk snubbed in favour of Maldonado('s money)? Obviously not such a bad deal for him in retrospect. I think this race calls for some hot penalty point action on his part.
That was really fun to watch, especially the the two Mercs at the end. I really like how they push each other without going overboard (on and off the track).
