Well that was one crazy race. Almost seemed like early troubles were the way to success in this one :D

Also, can't believe the Force India boys, namely Ocon this time around.

Obviously it would be Max and Kimi who come together. Can't blame either of them, but still gutted for Kimi who got a great launch

@ethanielrain@rethla: Thanks for the replies, I had to do a puzzle at the last monolith there so most probably no change for the puzzles indeed.

I just got to doing Remnant monoliths in Kadara after the patch and haven't had to do a single sudoku there. Is this par for the course or did they just get rid of them all together?

@mightyduck: Ah, if not for the NHL, they could have been the Las Vegas Craps!

But seriously, looking forward to seeing how that team shapes up, and how the fanbase shapes up, too.

I was so disinterested in the World Cup to a degree that surprised even myself. Besides acknowledging that the tournament had started, and the addition of the mishmash teams, that was it for me. Congratulations Canada! I really hope I get into international games later down the line, though, because I remember having a blast watching them in the past.

I am, however, getting excited for the beginning of the NHL season. We stared a fantasy league with the gf and a few friends last season which was a lot of fun and got me back into hockey after a few years of separation. I'll not go into detail about last season, but needless to say, banking on Bishop and Colorado's youngsters on bringing me success was either a very bold or very stupid plan (...it was stupid). We'll be travelling in the states (around Washington DC and down to NC) during late October, but we'll just miss out on either the Caps' or Canes' games, which is a bit of a bummer.

Loved the podcast, so I'm viewing this with a hint of reservation; hopefully they don't downplay the scoopyness and wolfiness just to appease the mainstream viewing public.

This is great, btw, the gift that keeps on giving the more you look at it!

I would have been a happy camper with Nate, Sam, Elena, and Sully walking away deciding it wasn't worth all that (I legitimately thought that moment was going to end it). Rafe would have burned alone inside the treasure hold after setting off Avery's traps. But Nate was dragged yet again into another end-game spectacle.

The fight was thematically appropriate for the quest for pyrate booty, but kind of stuck out awkwardly against all the other kind of fighting that the game is full of, and could have used some contextual melee moves that the series is known to have at times (fish slapping). I felt like it took something away from the hard choice and self-reflection -moment that had just happened a chapter before. It's like ND wanted to have their cake and eat it too.

I just continued my ng+ run after many months in anticipation for the upcoming dlc, but I'll load up my regular game complete save to play it. I'll play the dlc's on ng+ if / when I get there.
