Eh, sure it's the best weapon in the game now, but I fully expect The Taken King to have better weapons than the Gally. I don't think Bungie wants it's players to keep using the same exotic for the next 9 years of Destiny. It has to become common and useless at some point in it's life to make way for new weapons. It's the circle of video game life.

This is honestly my favorite game thus far this year. The connection that I've grown with Max and Chloe are on the levels of Lee and Clementine for me, but have far exceeding that.

SPOILERS!

The ending of episode 3 and beginning of 4 hit me hard. The entirety of that was just constantly sad and shows how much Max really cares for Chloe and how bad she feels for not keeping in touch for 5 years. And realizing that William had to die a second time for Chloe to be truly happy, even though blue haired Chloe herself thinks her life couldn't get any worse.

That whole section is probably when it became my favorite game this year overtaking Witcher 3. Even before that was great. Talking Kate Marsh down was a powerful scene and having no powers to help you was a great twist. You get one chance to save this girls life. Kate's entire narrative arc is written well in my opinion. It really shows how much mental strain social media and bullying can have on a teens life.

I want to support Mega Man to let Capcom know that fans still care about the series, but not like this. I can't buy a collection of something when it has less games than another collection that came out two generations ago.

Give me a blu ray disc of 1-10, MML 1 and 2, X1-8, soccer and tron bonne for $60. I'd buy that all day.

Is that realistic in a business stand point? No, definitely not. They'll make way more money selling the series in multiple collections. But, it'd at least earn them some good will with fans.

Rare Replay is a great high bar for collections I think. 30 games for a dollar a piece is insane.

They made the game more accessible to newcomers, NOT made it ridiculously easy for newcomers. There still is a learning curve that you have to practice to understand as there is with any multiplayer game.

They want to welcome newcomers, but still make it in depth for veterans because let's face it, it's the veterans that are going to play the longest. If they can get even a fraction of the newcomers to stay on board and develop the skill of a veteran then this game is a success. It's already got Drew understanding the mechanics of a fighting game a lot more than he use too.

It blows my mind that someone that hates a game plays THAT MUCH of it. I mean, surely after the 50 hour mark you'd known if you'd like it or not. Why go on? There is so many other video games out there to enjoy.

To me, Destiny is a very mediocre game. The shooting is god damn solid and the visuals are nice, but everything else is pretty meh. I'm currently level 34 at about 75 hours. I like this game, but don't love it. Out of that 75 hours I'd say that i've played it solo maybe 3 hours total. The other 72 hours has been purely with friends. So with that said, I think that Destiny is a great game if you have friends who have the game as well. If it weren't for my friends, I'd have put the game down after the initial "story" missions were over.

Do I feel burned? Absolutely not. I could've stopped playing it at any time, just like anyone else here could have. That's just how games are these days. Buy a game day one and experience the zeitgeist, or wait a year until patches fix all the problems with the game and expansions add to it.

And guess what. Year 3 is probably going to be even better than year 2. And year 4 might be better than year 3. I don't feel burned for a game being better than it was a year ago. That's a good thing.

So I just went to upgrade and I see that on installation guides they all have the option to pick what they want to keep. Like keep all my files or keep nothing and wipe the drive.

I installed the upgrade from the little program that has been in the bottom right corner of my screen for days, maybe weeks now. I agreed to some terms and it just immediately went into upgrading it. I got no prompt to pick whether or not I wanted to fresh install or not and now it's copying all of my files and taking forever.

Did I miss something? What I saw on my screen looked nothing like what I've seen on others.

Also I've heard you can opt out of all this privacy Bulls hit during installation, when does that happen so I don't miss that too.

Well fuck. I've used this app for like 2-3 years now. This is a bummer.

I understand though.

Thanks for posting this. Very happy to help and seeing this shirt in my wardrobe will put a silly smile on my face every time I see it when I'm reminded of Ryan.

I miss that man.

I hope she includes pictures of the trip. If not though I'd totally understand. It's a very personal thing that she needs to do to move on. I hope she really enjoys herself and takes a moment to soak in life and the positive things she has left in it.

Admittedly It probably has the bandwaggon effect since it's a Rocksteady Batman game so reviewers are going to mark it high however, I watched the Gamespot review, and it seemed pretty fishy to me. It just seemed like he gave it the 7 for some ulterior motives. Gamespot has a habit of doing these converstional reviews because they know its the only way they will get attention... no one cares about Gamespot anymore.

You're just as bad as the comments section on that GS review.

The guy just didn't like it as much as everyone else. I don't get why that is something that would have ulterior motives behind it. It's a video game and not everyone likes the same thing. It's called, oh what is the word I'm looking for? Oh yea! An opinion!

And 7/10 isn't even a bad score. You know what's a bad score? A 4/10 or below. The game is a good game and a 7/10 says that perfectly.

It all brings my memories back to Jeff's 8.8 for Twilight Princess. The outrage for a score for something that no one in the comments section had even touched. Then once everyone played it they realized. "Oh yea, Jeff was totally right, this a great game, but Zelda has definitely been better before" Hell, I'm a diehard Zelda fan and even I thought an 8.8 was too high of a score. 7.5 at best.

As for Batman. Well, I haven't played it. But it seems to me like those Batmobile sections are either something you're going to love, hate or tolerate. Seems like Van'Ord just did not like them and that caused his enjoyment of the game to fall more than the other reviewers.
