@chaser324: i don't play shooters often and so i never got this whole FOV thing being such a big deal. Then I tried to play Borderlands 2 on the PS3 because it was free on PS+. Holy crap the game is unplayable. I'm sitting on a couch, like 8-10 feet away from a 50" screen, but everything on screen is so big and blown up it hurts my eyes and makes me feel nauseous. I play a ton of games and have never gotten motion sickness or whatever from a game until I played Borderlands 2 on PS3. Absolutely terrible.

This looks like it's going to be on PS+ this month and I've always been curious about this franchise. Thought about getting the 3DS one in the past but looked like you need others to play with to get the most out of it.

Ryan, Jeff, Vinny, and Brad have been a part of my daily morning commute for years and I feel as though I've lost a great friend and video community has lost a top notch entertainer. Condolences to the giant bomb crew and his family and wife.

I'd guess that it had to do with sales of the previous games. Just get a wired 360 pad and plug it into your PC.

Yeah, but then you have to buy the game and another controller... I don't want to play it that badly.

I was a big fan of the Flatout games and when I saw this game get released out of nowhere I was ready to order a 360 or PS3 version, but then I saw it's PC only. Kind of lame considering it's a driving game, who wants to drive a car with a keyboard and mouse?

This is the reason I buy most of my multi-platform stuff for the 360. It just takes a decade to download any updates or DLC on the PS3. Not to mention the days when I come home from work and want to play a game for a bit before the wife gets home and there is an update that takes up 45 minutes of the hour I have to play...

Well, I've been working on Final Fantasy III as part of my mission to finish all of the Final Fantasy games released in the US. And let me say, I am not really enjoying it at all. It's mostly due to the fact that I seem to always need to grind before every dungeon. I don't know if I'm just bad at this game or what, but every new dungeon I go into, the new monsters just destroy me and I have to work on the first room of the dungeon over and over to get strong enough to even make it to the boss. I'm not really a big fan of games where you have to grind so I don't know. I'm about 7 hours into the game, but I probably spent like 2 or 3 of those grinding. I'm deciding whether or not to put this game down for now and move on to FF IV for the PSP or what.

In other news, I am also working on Folklore for the PS3. It's a pretty interesting game, but the gameplay gets kind of repetitive because you have to do the same level twice, once with each character to get the whole story. I think I'm on Chapter 5 with Ellen and Chapter 4 with Keats. It's a pretty decent game though, but sometimes can be hard motivating myself through a level I just played for a second time.

Well that's all for now.

What about 4? My favourite in the series that I've played.

4 is next up on my list after I finish 3.
