This is so gotten it is get.

Don't think the change in style will affect the experience too much, I believe they'll be more than capable of conveying the things that made the first two games great.

There are several, and I'm sure I'm forgetting all the best ones, of course, but one thing that is sure to get to me is when an intense game just goes quiet. No need for any jump-scares at the end or anything, just have a long passage of gameplay with no enemies at all...

To mention a specific one that got to me though: in Heavy Rain towards the end,

...when you play as Norman and are sitting in your final session in ARI before you rush off to save the day (or just the final one, period, as it might be...). You're sifting through evidence, then you just barely notice that... He's bleeding from one of his eyes behind the glasses... Then the other...

Very well done in my opinion.

Hell kinda wish they'd left off the art for 2&3 and just put the words there in slightly larger text, they stick out like a sore thumb but, good cover though.

Move it all to the back I say. I mean, what else do you need to put there?

Still, far better than I feared/hoped!

I would like to say Everything, but for specific example no one has mentioned... How about the elbow licking skills? Love the focus attack approach.

Borderlands: GotY edition would be grand! Haven't had a chance to try it...

...In the first one it worked quite well with going all the way on a character (Renegade in my case) and then go New Game+ and mix it up. I don't care about the alignment per se, when the points carried over and I wasn't limited by it, and "my" Shepard goes either way depending on the situation or character your interacting with.

This did not work as well in the second game though; not only because your Par/Ren-scores didn't carry over, but mainly because of the weird quasi-percent-based weird system with the scores and requirements. I made the choices I wanted for most of the game, then towards the end I pushed a bit harder on the one that was the highest so I would be able to pass the Morinth seduction-check. In the end I had to run panicked searching for every possible point opportunity in the galaxy, and then I managed to fill up one bar to the top, while still having the other one at over half, but that was still not enough...

So bitterness over change.

EDIT: ...but generally renegon for me.

@ashkanhoss29: Silent hill 4. It's better to see it: http://lparchive.org/Silent-Hill-4/Update%2010/10-5.avi (From Earth's Let's Play). Short but good clip, but the sound and the movement just makes it perfect.

It's in a corridor full of randomised rooms and can surprise (though maybe not shock) you a bit.

I agree, Giant Bomb really spoils you with most of the content. Good editing didn't use to be this important, but they have really raised the bar, which is good, though painful when you leave the secure confines of here.

I find myself becoming more and more bitter about other podcasts as well, though on that front there are at least enough people who can deliver for it to not be too painful...

@Capum15: Was talking about the futurama-thing, yeah. Like I said: I really like that clip, I just became a bit bitter over the use of "Bologna" instead of "baloney", but that could be considered another kind of funny I guess :P

More on topic, there is so much to love around here, though I do not have any good stories off the top of my head. Anytime I need cheering up though, I usually put on the Whiskey Media is Weird-video and just flail around a bit.
