I think they will look back at us and comment about how ignorant we are in comparison to them and then they'll wonder what we were thinking. Just like how we look back at people from 200 years ago today not realizing that we are the same as them. Humans are humans.

I'd suggest sticking with the Telltale games right now since you are new to genre. Sam & Max Seasons 1 & 2 are both really great. The Monkey Island games are a lot of fun too. I'd also recommend CSI: Hard Evidence and CSI: Deadly Intent. They are very much rooted in real world logic puzzles and they were made by Telltale. Also, if you have a DS I recommend getting Trace Memory. It's a fun game that is well suited for those not overly familiar with the adventure genre and is also rooted in real world logic puzzles.

Give it another 3 or 4 hours and if you still aren't feeling it move on to something else. That's what I did, as I feel the game is a mess and total disappointment and I've been playing Final Fantasy games since Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. FFXIII isn't the only RPG or JRPG or high profile game out there or coming out right now. There are other fish in the sea.

" The second one sucked in my opinion but I quite liked the first.  Mind you, I played the first back when the PS3 launched so it might not have aged well.  But, the biggest difference between the two is setting and story.  The first one takes place in England among the first incursion of the Chimera.  The biology of the creatures is different then, too.  Personally, I felt that Resistance 2 was nothing but a crappy Halo clone in story and structure.  The original was much better on that front, however if you have issues with game play then I wouldn't bother with Fall of Man.  The shooting mechanics are about the same in both games and multiplayer is much more mundane.  If you decide to play the first game it should be because it has a better story and pretty much for that reason alone.  Otherwise, you'll be disappointed again. "
