No. I tried it at PAX and it's a sub-par experience. For 100 bucks (plus the phone) it's alright, but if I'm already committing to the tech I'm going to go all the way.

I bought Talos Principle for ~25 on a sale, but after playing it I could totally see paying 40 for it. I have no problem paying 40 for the Witness, I just know that I don't have the time right now so I'll just wait for a minor price drop for when it makes more sense to get it time-wise.

Maybe it's still too early, but 90% of the tweets are about the campaign itself. Nice to see that a few tweets are actually on-topic. I don't think this will take off in a global or viral sense, but I appreciate and commend the sentiment.

@kasaioni: The song you're thinking of is Spanish Sahara by Foals. Great song, and it fit the ending perfectly.

This game got me into Syd Matters (To All of You, Obstacles), alt-J (Something Good), Jose Gonzalez (Crosses), and Amanda Palmer (In My Mind). In my opinion the best licensed soundtrack of last year. I don't normally buy video game soundtracks on vinyl, but this is one I would put my money down for.

Not quite the vinyl you want, but the Limited Edition is available for PC, and comes with the CD of licensed and original tracks. It's 40 bucks but this is one of those things that I want to have for posterity.

Also, they just pushed an update tonight, and it includes a 1 hour commentary (possibly video?).

After finishing Life Is Strange I've spent most of my time listening to the soundtrack, both licensed and original. I've discovered that almost every single licensed track has brought me to the verge of tears at least once. Foals - Spanish Sahara is obvious, since it's the one that plays over the final scene. However, the other tracks inspire emotion as well. Syd Matters - Obstacles makes me think of the beginning of Max's and Chloe's journey (and, inevitably, its conclusion). It's uplifting, yet tragic. Sparklehorse - Piano Fire makes me think of the few brief moments of happiness in Chloe's life that we see. Message to Bears - Mountains was a weird choice in the moment, a track with vocals during an extremely emotional scene. Mogwai - Kids Will Be Skeletons is damn near heartbreaking, given how fucked up the moment it accompanies is.

What is your saddest song nominee, or what is your memorable emotional moment from the game that's closely associated with a song?

Konami has so far acknowledged the project and didn't immediately C&D him, but that doesn't mean they won't 2 years in. If I were to commit to this kind of project, I would keep it under wraps until the day I'd release it.

Glad to see the community pulled through and recognized Metal Gear as the best goddamn experience of the year.

I really liked MGSV also, but I think that may be a stretch. I think it's mainly a matter of more people having played MGSV, so it ranked higher because it got more points. There are a lot of people who played and enjoyed MGSV but didn't play Witcher 3, Fallout, or many of the other top games on the list.

MGSV wasn't better than everything else in 2015, it was just the most popular, at least on Giant Bomb. And if you look at the numbers, Witcher 3 received a higher average position on user lists than MGSV did.

I prefer my version of the list rank.

I don't hear many people talking about Zelda. It's pretty chill.
