@Chainclaw: Linking URLs works differently on these forums, all you have to do is click the little "Link" Button in parchment, it's next to the insert image button. new video player
Yeah, I saw that after I pasted it, and tried to edit it, but the edit never "stuck" so I gave up.
Anyways, I think this thread has veered pretty far off topic at this point, I figured I would just make this about a specific bug, you guys might want to make new threads on stuff like ads for subscribers or whatever. I don't know how the GB crew tracks bugs, but I'm sure it's easier when each thread covers a very specific issue, nothing's more annoying for a developer to open a bug thread on Feature X causes Problem Y, and find the latest updates are completely unrelated to that topic.
I'm using Chrome 18.0.1025.168 m (most up to date) on Windows 7.
When I go to watch a video, such as http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-minecraft-xbox-360-edition/17-5953/ there is a new video player. If I click the timeline in the video past where it is currently buffered to, it does not jump ahead to that spot, it jumps to the farthest point it is buffered to. Because many videos are so long, I will often watch part of a video at one place, and finish it later on another PC, and just skip to where I was. This is especially annoying with a slower wireless connection, where buffering takes extra time.
edit: It was pointed out to me that setting the quality to "auto" does allow for seeking in the video, so this isn't as big of a deal, but it's still a hassle, especially if I want to force HD.
Also, switching play quality restarts the video. I don't know if the old player did this, but I know Hulu and a few other video player services don't. Sometimes my wireless gets a little nutty, and it's a nice to be able to safely change playback quality.
I hope they don't abandon old FMV games until they get a chance to play some Total Distortion. This is one of the most insane PC games you'll ever see, here's the game over screen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOgoalnC5s8
Yesssss finally something I care about from E3. A real game. With no motion controllers or cameras. With SPACESHIPS. That you have to play with a keyboard and mouse.
It is Friday night, and there are only 3 people in chat. Why is this? What is wrong with you people? I want to do some drunken 3v3s, and can't find a crew. OK maybe it's Thursday, but still, 3 people in chat is unacceptable. Do you people not know about this chat channel? Did it move when I wasn't looking?
