Apparently there are no platinum trophies available in Super Stardust HD or any PSN games for that matter - only full-length/scope retail games (e.g. Drakes Fortune, Resistance 2, SOCOM: Confrontation).
"PixelJunk Eden is a short-form PSN title so there are fewer trophies when compared to, say, a Blu-ray title (which can have the esteemed platinum trophy), but we still managed to pack in quite a few."
Check out the Super Stardust HD page - has all the info. Are you referring to the Close Encounters trophy? You have to survive for 45 seconds in Survival Mode (have to purchase the Solo Pack add-on) without shooting or using bombs (boost is okay).
Its likely that the files themselves will be encoded with Digital Rights Management (DRM) locks. Much in the same way that DRM-protected songs bought on iTunes can only be played on a limited number of authorized computers and devices, I'd be surprised if there were not simllar controls on the video files moving through the PSN. (I don't know of a legal video download service that doesn't incorporate some type of DRM control.) Hopefully we will be allowed to burn any videos purchased (back them up) onto physical media, however, that would make the redistribution of the file very easy and therefore I doubt it.
I'd imagine that these type of negotiations are becoming streamlined. There are numerous music download services that require copyright agreements and the iTunes video store is now available in Canada (which has likely set copyright precedents for video content). Perhaps we'll see the service close to when it launches in Japan in September.
