This was just so much fun, the driving is nice (not like some cough**4** other ones, the skill system was awesome (one shotting anybody with desert eagle was too much fun), the jet pack was so much fun it had to be illegal (oh wait a minute it was) and the helicopter was way overpowered (maybe even more so than the tank)

This was about as much fun as you could have in the top down GTA's. I wish that for the next one they take the entire game and simply bring it into 3D. Or at least some of it's ideas. Two of the coolest ideas ever put into a GTA game were in this one and never put i any other. First there was the whole Gang idea that each of the three maps had three gangs in them and you could work for any of them, that's right, at any time (if you had high enough rep) you could take a mission from a different gang. There was a certain amounts of quests that you had to accomplish to continue to the next map. Or finish all of the gangs quests with the final one being to take out the rival bosses on that map. Then there was the ability to listen to the radio stations anywhere, meaning even out of the car. It would make the collectible gathering of the other GTA games not so boring. So come on Rockstar, bring it back.

Even though this one might not as fun as previous ones I still have to put it into the number 3 position for many reasons. Even though the handling of motorcycles have suffered (or rather all handling of vehicles have become insanely unrealistic) it still gets points for having them. Plus it gets major points for keeping the ability to swim. Some say to get away from the cops has become to easy. I somewhat disagree. It might be a little bit easier in a car, but on foot is virtually impossible especially with a helicopter on you. The cover system is a nice addition but I would trade it for the sill system in a heart beat (one killing people with maxed out desert eagle).

I have to say this was damn fun to come back to and with motorcycles,wow. I could not believe I had remembered every street in the game, and now I could go down them (and get away from the cops) in a motorcycle. I don't think you understand what this meant to me. I mean I am insanely good with the bike, it was the only thing I drove (or rather rode) in Vice City and practically the only thing I used in San Andreas. I was unstoppable on a sport bike. And to come back to a city that I knew so well. I was toying with the cops from the minute the game started. It might even be higher on my list if you could swim.
