@yesiamaduck: It's a large base but it seemed like the plan was to get rid of the steamlink boxes and move to an app approach that would put a streaming box in every home, or as near as.
I have never owned an Apple product so it makes no difference to me, but it seams like a pretty big stumbling block for Valves new approach.
The reason was business conflicts. Where does this leave the Steam Link idea now? I can't see valve going forward as Android only. Maybe back to the dongle concept?
@rethla: Brada mentioned a few times that he likes to take a wait and see approach to new hardware. Buying a couple of weeks later mean any big issues are known.
Yes, FF7 is a good game. I've probably played through it 3 or 4 times in the last 18ish years which for a 80 hour game isn't bad.
FF8 is also a good game I'm currently 68 hours in on vita and it plays great so I assume FF7 will too, never played IX beyond the first disk but I keep meaning to pick it up.
But as has already been said if you haven't already played it get Persona 4.
It amazes me that the anger about games journalism seems to be directed at some of the few people to actually engage in games journalism as opposed to reviewers or as Jeff so perfectly phrases it Videogamesmen.
As a 30 something year old there is enough in the world to get angry about without bringing up some crap about people not making the videogames I like, well boohoo, try walking down the street and seeing the people who don't have a bed to sleep in. And don't get me started on the idiots that use it as some excuse to get their sexist jollies off by harassing and threatening people. If the thing that you get worked up about is the content of videogames and who knows / sent a review copy of a game to who then seriously, put down the controller and take a long hard look at the world.
Should GB take a stance? As far as I'm concerned they already are.
