Did anyone else think he was firing it at Moscow to get the war serious?

Also, all the monologues between missions were TERRIBLE. I wouldn't have cared if it was straight-up exposition, because the game needed that to explain plots/motives. But the whole 'bigger bang' and 'history' bullcrap was tedious!
"Remember the movie SWAT? That's what this game is. The movie starts out that they're cops in LA. It ends with them invading another country. MW2 could've used some LL Cool J though. "
"MW2 is as bad the movie SWAT!" has to be the most insanely harsh criticism against the single-player campaign yet uttered on the internet. "
I never actually passed judgement on the quality of either MW2 or SWAT in that statement.
Merely that the plots are like this: SWAT: Movie about cops, ends with cops invading another country as some sort of limitless militia group MW2: Game about foot soldiers, ends with them becoming some sort of limitless militia group killing a US army general
" I honestly just dont get why so few people have realized it's basically a cliffhanger and the plot will be resolved in the sequel "
I believe that's the EXACT REASON I hate the plot so much. It's BECAUSE the took a twist in the story, to avoid their own plot and set up a sequel that I hate the entire thing. "
I guess Empire sucked ass because of that reason? People shouldn't expect ends in a middle chapter to a now branched off series. Also if Halo 2 never came out, people wouldn't really be complaining about this. There were obvious elements that there would be another sequel halfway through the game at the least. "
I would argue that Empire had a more complete finish (though I can't remember it off the top of my head) than this game.
MW2's final resolution only resolves the third act of the game, not the first two. In other words 2/3rds of the game are irrelevant to the ending. That's crap.
I wasn't actually that frantic to remove it. Being so disappointed by that point, when it flashes up PRESS X!! I rolled my eyes and casually tapped it.
