@crazybagman: That wasn't so much canceled. That came out, but that got the axe just before or after the microsoft taken over I think. Probably not accurate, but that thing was pretty cool, just a bit too long and it took to long for them to update it.

@hassun: There is a real time strategy game in the works in this universe.

At the moment that looks very rought so I am not sure if that will become something, cook, but it might be something to look for.

@bathala: There is more in there. But I can't shake the feeling that it is still not there yet.

@bizarrohash: And unless you use a mouse from the couch, the game might require a bit too much fine control.

@tennmuerti: To be fair, for a fan of the Old World this will probably end up being the last hooray.

And to be fair the changes go way deeper on a company level. They have been scrambling on quite a few fronts and changes are felt all over.

@hassun: GW has had some very backwards idea of running their business. And has accrued quite a reputation for being shit to their customers. Hell, if GW was bigger I am sure they'd get higher hate levels then EA on worse company polls.

I am liking the blast corps thing they got going on with messing up the city.

I am looking forwards to this killing the console market eventually and boosting the pc.
Although that is not how any of this works! I am very cautious about what this means. If they start doing this the console loses it's only saving grace! If you can't guarantee that you can pop a disc in and lay you might aswell have a pc.

I don't get the negativity. This is still the same base game underneath, but 99% of sequels are like that.
But this has a pretty cool setting.(Just like B.C. But that never came out and that was a Peter molyneux thing so) Maybe not mined for as much as they could. I wouldn't mind seeing a Ice aged themed one! Although, I bet this will be a one of experiment.

But most of the complaints are lost on me. Like no compelling main story. That has never been part of farcry for me. That is like the people who were bummed that the present day/future stuff got cut from assassins creed.

That being said, I haven't played it, but I think it will be neat for what it is. A prehistoric sandbox.

I like it, but I will admit that it would be better with 30 minutes cut out. I woudl even cut everything after the middle fight in Tokyo. Nothing that happens from that is really great. Even the fights! Placing them underwater makes them really lame.
