I don't know if any of this is true or not, only just started playing the game, but I do find it interesting that the thread over at Codemasters is closed. If there is no such problem with the game and Codemasters have nothing to hide, then why would they close the thread, which in the end is totally speculation anyway. 
 
As for some of the comments over there, including one that says it's a great base to build on and we should be happy to pay just so they can get it better next time, well that is utter fucking rubbish. Games are expensive enough without happily paying for flawed titles, especially here in Australia where the game current retails for $110, despite the fact that the dollar here is almost 1:1 with USD. 
 
I really hope that this shit isn't true, I love Formula 1, and the last thing F1 needs is shit developers and games ruining their gaming reputation. It doesn't help that nimrods like Bernie Ecclestone are probably deciding who gets to make these games, and he probably doesn't even know what a fucking PS3 is. Shameful.

I am a GT fan from way back, and only a relatively new xbox 360 owner. I fucking love GT. I downloaded the Forza 3 demo from xbox live and I thought it was pretty good. TBH it looks like they have taken a bit of a leaf out of GT's book style of game wise, but they have a produced a great looking game that has has taken them a fraction of the time to produce, I am really happy with that.  
 
Also this comparison is a bit moot as the GT5 isn't set for a release until March 2010, and that's only in Japan, and I also can't remember them ever hitting an initial release date EVER. I don't think we need to fight about which game is better, they are both going to be AWESOME, but I do know this. Come Friday I will be playing Forza 3 on my xbox, it'll be fucking ages till I get to play GT5 on my PS3, and I will have played the hell out of Forza 3 by then, let's go get some S Rank.

Fuck people love to have a sook don't they. It amazes me as a developer, not a games developer but still, how often people think they can get developers work for fucking free. Development is hard work, and if this is what they need to do to maximise the return on there game, their hard fucking work, then they should totally do it, no one loses, you know good and well that by buying it brand new you will get these things, choose not to if you want, but STFU about it.  
 
@Pie, its irrelevant how much money they made off their work. It's their work and without it you would never be playing Forza 3.
