Cool. Sounds like a good feature to have, and fits in well with what the system's trying to do. Rather than swapping inputs or whatever you can just use the Xbone. Hardly a system seller of a feature, but still.

I joined when he was already settled in, so it's going to be weird for me. Never experienced Patrick-less Giant Bomb for more than a week or so. I hope the amount of Quick Looks he's in isn't indicative of how much interest/time the other guys have, going to be real dry content wise if that's the case.

Oh and if nothing else, that guy can get excited about stuff.

@jimbo: Especially since it's coming to the PC also. With good looking actual exclusives it's weird that he'd single out Titanfall. I guess since it's an FPS and not coming to the PS4 it's good enough. Other than that he didn't really say anything surprising. To change things now would be admitting defeat.

@candycowman: If you're talking 4K resolution, this article is worth a look. It argues that 4K gaming is simply too taxing for the hardware and that the benefit isn't enough for most people to notice. I've seen that sentiment echoed elsewhere, and I'd imagine it's why Sony believes the PS4 won't need it. I'm not tech-savvy either though, so I can't personally confirm. I believe the unified memory is supposed to be PS4's future-proofing? Both AMD and Nvidia are pushing it for PCs as well, I think.

Guys! Knack! Click to see Cerny talking over gameplay, because why wouldn't you. Non-underdog highlights would be MGSV, Infamous, Titanfall and Mirror's Edge. I'll probably get Killzone too and Destiny if it ever comes to PCs.

edit: Octodad is so underdog I forgot to mention it. If you don't know what it is, I present to you the Dadliest Catch and a quote from one of the developers: "We’re definitely considering Move support! We haven’t gotten a chance to mess with it yet, but we’d love to."

@truthtellah: Yeah, the Xbone isn't really always online. I guess I was reading the question literally while also responding to Xbone concerns which doesn't really work out. With SpaceInsomniac's clarification I'd still say everything mentioned in the thread could be accomplished without a 24h check (basically I'm saying Sony could do it. Well, other than things related to stuff like digital retail games that don't exist for the PS4.). It might add an extra step for the user here and there though.
