I have two particular examples. The first is a section of the third mission in the original Halo: CE campaign called Into the Belly of the Beast. It's when you first board a Covenant vessel through an beam lift and find yourself in a large hangar, on Legendary there are anywhere from 2-6 invisible sword Elites who were insanely hard to kill and th amount that spawned until your first save was extremely random (a running them in most Halos).
The other was when you flew that airplane around for the nerd guy in GTA:SA holy shit that was the most frustrated I've ever been with a video game lol
Just started up New Vegas on the PC after originally putting a paltry 10-15 hrs. on it when it launched on the 360. Having a good time so far playing Hardcore but everytime I put on a play sess. I find myself lusting for the forsaken peaks and valleys of Skyrim. Might be just be my proclivity for gaming on the Xbox instead of the PC.
Just about to ding 200 hrs. and just hit lvl. 50 earlier today. Playing on the 360 w/ Dawnguard and Dragonborn installed and am having a blast still. This is may be the pinnacle of my 360 experience and if not, it's damn close. Always stumbling into something new and experiencing something else that keeps the game new-ish feeling for me.
@ShadowConqueror: House of Leaves is such a superb story. Coincidentally, I was studying abroad in Poland when I read that book. So the Gdansk connection mixed with me suffering from multiple episodes of sleep paralysis due to the dramatic time change made for quite a disturbingly indelible read.
