Turn-based Strategy with Vic Viper

Gradius and turn based Strategy? You heard right! Cosmic Wars really is a nifty little game; unfortunately for it, matches can take a very long time and if you're playing with a friend, it's quite likely you won't be able to complete a match in a single sitting. Fortunately there's a save function to offset this, but it's still somewhat impractical, and more than that, inconvenient. This is the sort of game that really screams for some sort of remake, preferably on something that would allow for net play... and of course it'd benefit from other tweaks which are possible on more modern hardware. But hey, it's a neat little piece of Gradius history that a lot of people are unfamiliar with.

And of course, there's chicken.
Cashew Chicken
1 lb chicken
1 red bell pepper, seeds removed and diced
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
4 dried red "hawk claw" chilies, chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
A pinch of sugar
1 bunch of scallions cut in to pieces
1 1/2 cups of roasted unsalted cashews
Cut the chicken in to small pieces. Heat the oil in a frying pan, preferably a wok. Add the garlic and dried chili, then add the chicken and stir-fry until it is thoroughly cooked. Add the bell pepper, then add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and the pinch of sugar. Then add the scallions and cashew nuts. Stir fry for another couple of minutes and then serve!
