I highly doubt it.

I played some of the multiplayer at PAX.  It was actually pretty fun.

 I think it'll be 2 out of 5 on Giant Bomb and I think people will refer to it as acceptable, but that's it.    

  I'm on the fence about Goldeneye. Maybe it going to be good or not, we'll have to see when the game comes out.

Well i don't have a problem in particular with the idea of a remake, Considering microsoft and nintendo can't come to some kind of agreement/conclusion  to release the original goldeneye on their respective virtual markets. I think mainly everyone will have a problem with the modernized remake because of the nostalgia factor involved, and some people will even complain about Daniel Craig being the new character model along with the changing of Alec Trevelyan's character model. i don't have a problem with this because After all this is a remake and a re invention of the video game unlike trying to cash in and trying to sneak into that sweet goldeneye nector like rogue agent did.  After all, this is not a multi-platform game.
 
I think a lot of us who grew up playing goldeneye and have played many of the disappointing fps bond games over the last few years are still worried and aren't convinced or confident that this bond game is any better. Rareware really has done something special with the original. but i must remind everyone on this blog that goldeneye hasn't aged very well in recent years. i think it is interesting to see a lot of the modern first person shooter mechanics we see today implemented into this game. it kind of gives us a idea on what goldeneye might have been like in this day and age. 
 
The video game isn't out yet, but i am anticipating it's release and i cannot wait to play it. I am not saying it is going to replace any of my nostalgic moments from the original goldeneye. but i can say that i am ready to make new nostalic moments along side those old ones. because the game looks like fun and i have faith that the game will have some kind of replay value. Cheers.

I probably won't be picking it up. Even if the reviews are good. I don't want something to get rid of the nostalgia I have for the original game.

Well, it seems to be a remake in story only. Everything else I've seen makes it look fun as it's own little game. But I don't think they'll tarnish the reputation of the original in any way. Plus, nobody has played the game anyway, so who are we to judge it yet, really. As I always say, it's just like 'Innocent until proven guilty', but instead, 'Good game until proven to be shit'. You have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don't have a Wii, but I trust Eurocom as a developer.

This game is going to suck horribly lol. Just wait.
