  • This may be the best Mario game to date. After being dissapointed by one crappy wii game after another, we finally got this. This game, while it looks very similar to the first game, feels completely original from start to finish. Throw in the best level design i have ever seen in a platformer, and you have what is by far the best of the year.

  • How could I not put the game that I sunk the most hours into this year on my list? But it wasn't just the fact that I got addicted; it was the sense of power that I got from playing this game. I really felt like I was running my own empire. And to top it all off, here is a stradegy game that I could actually get a handle of. To be honest, stradegy games have always confused and frustrated me. That is, until I played Civ 5.

  • This is just a great little throwback. The campaign feels intense, yet still has the feelings of a classic. The multiplayer feels like it did 8 years ago, yet it still feels addicting. This is a game that I wont be putting down until the next Battlefield comes out.

  • This is the only game where i have said "I hate this game" at least 500 times while playing, but I always said it with a masochistic grin on my face. This is the sort of game that you will die at least 1000 times, and never feel like quitting.

  • Do I have to explain why I love this game? Imagine taking drugs, going to the loudest techno club ever, and having a massive orgy inside. That's about what this game feels like.

  • I am putting WOW in general on my list. Not just this expansion. Why? Because Blizzard still updates it constantly, evolving it and making it better. It feels like a new game, even though it is six years old. That's pretty cool. And thats why it deserves to be on my list.

  • Yes, this is on my top 10. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the formula that was laid down by COD 4. Though it is starting to get a little old, this formula rocks, and still provides an addicting multiplayer that will keep you up all night.

  • This was Sega's last chance to keep me interested in Sonic. I am a huge fan of Sonic games of old. If this game sucked, I would consider myself a Sonic nostalgist, not a fan. I'm still a fan. This game is great, and it is the best Sonic game since Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

  • I havent seen a game company besides Nintendo that can make one masterpiece after another. Well, except for Rockstar. These people are outstanding at what they do. From GTA, to this, I have a new found respect for Rockstar. Oh, and this game rocks...like a star.

  • What makes this arguably the best Halo game to date is the amount of obvious love that Bungie poured into this game. It dosen't really add anything new, and Bungie didn't try to make this game appeal to a wider audience. They just looked at their current audience and improved what they wanted. And that's what makes Bungie and this game so special.
