I've never felt this bad about the loss of someone I never met, but I think we all thought of Ryan as a close friend.

Thanks for everything, Ryan.

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones. They are the best pair I've ever had. They are listed for $199 on the website http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/0edf909675b1be4d/, but Amazon sells them for $150 or $159.

@thevigilanteoflove: I've heard fantastic stuff about Audio Technica but those are a bit bigger/bulkier than what I had in mind.

Despite their bulkiness, I just wanted to throw my hat in for the ATH-M50s. I've owned a pair for just over a year now and they're fucking awesome. Great sound quality, very comfortable and a great price for a pair of studio headphones.

That said, if you're looking for something smaller, I've heard great things about the Bose OE2s.

So who do you guys like this week?

I'm really looking forward to Chicago at New Orleans. The Bears put a hurt on a similarly pass-heavy Falcons team last week.

I also was looking forward to Chicago @ New Orleans, and the game didn't disappoint. ;)

. . . If you're a fan of the Saints.

The Bears looked bad. Cutler could not escape that pass rush. Brees looked great, again. 6 touchdowns, almost 700 yards. This could be a (another) good season for New Orleans.

I'm looking for the steelers to come out and crush the seahawks in a fit of mike tomlin rage.

Well, there is a fine line between drinking wine and squashing grapes.
